David Morris Collection
David is the great-great-grandson of August and Elizabeth (Haas) Beck. His grandmother was thier first child, daughter Mary Beck, who was born on South Manitou Island in 1874. In her father's declining years, Mary and her husband Samuel moved to the island to take over the farm, maintaining it until August's death in May of 1941. [1]
